Angela Robertson-Buchanan, Egg Picnic and Fiona Roderick are hosting a collaborative exhibition during Bird Week, with 20% of sales donated to BirdLife Australia. This exhibition will showcase some incredible bird images that aim to inspire more Australians to support bird conservation and learn about their local birdlife.

Join Sophie Golding, the City's Urban Ecologist, on an early adventure to find some habitat havens in Forest Lodge. Participants will visit a site where volunteers have been working to create a demonstration habitat haven. These sites are based on well considered design principles with the objective of attracting native birds and others to the site. Dr Holly Parsons from BirdLife Australia will take a group of early risers through the wetland area of Sydney Park and show us some of the delightful birds that call this park home. Holly has extensive experience in environmental education and a wealth of knowledge about birds in Sydney, and how we can help look after their natural habitat. Suitable for ages over 8 years. Parents or carers must accompany children under 16 years. This event celebrates National Bird Week from Monday 21 to Sunday 27 October. $5 for adult tickets, $2.50 for concession holders.
