NSW: Crosslands Reserve Aussie Backyard Bird Count

Join the Friends of Berowra Valley as we partake in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count 2019 at Crosslands Reserve, Berowra Valley National Park.

Be part of a citizen science event called the Aussie Backyard Bird Count. This will be an enjoyable family-fun event organised by the Friends of Berowra Valley. Come along to sight and record our local bird species, meet like-minded people and have a lovely morning tea in the bush. Numbers are limited so please book today.

We will met at 8.45am for a 9am start. We will complete two 20min bird surveys. No experience or equipment necessary. Meet at the end of the carpark at Crosslands Reserve, Hornsby Heights.

We will be going on a short bushwalk, so suitable shoes are recommended. Please bring a hat and water. We will supply morning tea.

The Friends of Berowra Valley is a local volunteer conservation group aiming to conserve the natural environment of the Berowra Valley and surrounds.

This is a family event although we will ask that noise be kept to a minimum during the bird surveys. No experience or equipment is necessary, but feel free to bring your binoculars.
